Chippy Poker is all about having fun playing FREE no limit Texas Hold'em at local bars, restaurants and other venues. We put the game in comfortable, local settings so you can come down with your friends and just have a great time enjoying the thrills and excitement of playing the game sweeping the country.
If you're a beginner and have thought about trying to play Texas Hold'em, we've got Chippy U to teach you the game. They say it takes "minutes to learn and a lifetime to master" and this is so true. If you'd like to experience Chippy Poker (say it fast, it's fun), just check out our event calendar and find a location near you hosting a weekly Chippy Poker Tournament. All you have to do is register at this website or in person at the venue hosting the event. Then just sign up to play at a tournament at its designated time. Please keep in mind that these games can fill up quickly so if you want to play make sure you get there as close to the designated registration time as possible. It's that easy. You don't have to pay anything to play.
The state of Minnesota does limit the prize pool so you won't be retiring or anything after winning. There will be glory, a good lucky feeling and prizes ranging from cash to gift certificates to t-shirts. Prizes will be given out for the top three finishers at most venues. Each venue will be different.
If you finish in the top 10 in any tournament you'll even earn points! We'll post the overall standings on our website as well as the standings for each venue so you can see how you're doing. Some of you will care about earning points, and some of you won't.
Each participating Chippy Poker Tournament venue will have a monthly champion who will be invited by Canterbury Park to play in the monthly Biscuit Invitational exclusively for Chippy players. Each participating venue will also have a season champion. Seasons will run Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Each venue's season champion, as well as the top 50 point earners, will be invited to a Season Chippy Championship Tournament. Sign up today!
