What in the world is Chippy Trivia?

Chippy Trivia is all about having fun playing Live Trivia at local bars, restaurants and other venues. We put the game in comfortable, local settings so you can come down with your friends, listen to some music and have a great time playing live team trivia!  

How does it work?

If you'd like to experience Chippy Trivia just check out our event calendar and find a location near you hosting a weekly Chippy Trivia Tournament. All you have to do is come to the venue hosting the event at its designated time, get an “Official” Chippy Trivia answer sheet and wait for the Trivia Host to start “barking” out the questions.

You don't have to pay anything to play and you can play on your own or have as many people on a team as you want.

There will be four rounds of 10 questions in categories like music, sports, movies, current events and lots of other random pop trivia.

In the first three rounds of questions you can even do a little gambling! You can place 1 point, 2 points or 3 points (each only used once) per question on your round. Let’s say round one is sports and you do pretty well, you may want to use your “Triple Dog Dare” point value and get 3 points for every question you answer correctly. For the next 2 rounds you would have to assign “Double Dog Dare” value (2 points) or “Dog Gone It” value (1 point).

Each round will also have a bonus question for double value so be prepared for us the throw you a bone.

On most nights, the final round will be a sound round so be sure to have a few music dogs in your pack.

When you get your Chippy Trivia answer sheet the first thing you do is put your team name (Pack Name) at the top.

After the Trivia Host starts a round by asking a question you fill in your best answer or leave it blank. You won’t be penalized for incorrect answers so by all means, take a guess. After the 10 questions in a round are done you will be asked to bring up your Chippy Trivia answer sheet (you can’t change an answer once it’s turned in so be sure). Be sure you’ve checked the point value you want for your correct answers. The Trivia Host will play a few songs and let you take a break while the round is being corrected. At the end of the 4 rounds the person or team with the most points wins!

There will be glory, a good lucky feeling and prizes ranging from cash to gift certificates to t-shirts. Prizes will be given out for the top three finishers at most venues. Each venue will be different.

If you or your team finishes in the TOP 5 in any tournament you'll even earn points! Just sign out your team name and your alpha dog (team captain). We'll post the overall standings on our website as well as the standings for each venue so you can see how you're doing. Some of you will care about earning points, and some of you won't.

It won’t be Westminster, but each season Chippy Trivia will have a Seasonal Championship to find out who our TOP DOGS are from our PACK OF PLAYERS playing weekly live trivia with Chippy! The TOP 3 teams from each venue will be invited to the Season Championship. Teams will be limited to 6 PLAYERS for all Season Championships so bring your alpha players to the TOP DOG SHOW!
